Our Team

I am very passionate about technology and all the good it can do in the world. I started writing code on Yahoo! Geocities and Angel Fire (nice name drop right :). I love writing code but the only thing I love more than that is helping startups leverage technology to bring their vision to life. I am one of those lifelong learners and am consistently teaching myself something new. Over the last two years, I have completed 78 courses on Udemy.com on a wide range of development topics and ideologies.

In my free time, I like to cook fancy dinners, hang out with my pups, and watch reruns of Bob’s Burgers.

I am passionate about software and web development and energized by collaborating with people in solving problems. I find myself equally enthusiastic about both client-side / front-end development, and back-end development processes and enjoy working across the stack. I consider myself a life-long student, and always love diving into new projects and learning new things. I’m excited to be in a field of so many talented software engineers working to improve people’s lives through better software development!

When I’m not coding, I keep busy as a musician, photographer, explorer of Colorado, and father of two amazing children.

I strive to live by this quote from Alexander Isley, “Get in over your head as often and as joyfully as possible.” Consequently, I believe in taking risks with my designs and learning from mistakes. I am passionate about learning new skills and creating a toolkit that helps me solve design issues in a multi-faceted approach. I’ve been fortunate to help build great teams of designers and developers and pride myself in taking on a variety of projects. In the past, I’ve done UX and visual design, front-end web development, and some basic iOS work.

My hobbies include digital music production, meditation, rock climbing, writing, and distance running. I’m a certified beer judge, and an angel investor in a winery and a couple of tech startups.
